The Seven Lakes festival is 10 years old

It aims at bringing the region closer to a program of classical music performed by great international artists. It will be held from January 20 to 31 in the framework amid the natural scenery of Villa La Angostura (Neuquén) and San Carlos de Bariloche (Río Negro).

This year, the festival, which brings together musicians and audiences from different parts of the world, will include iconic works in its repertoire such as "Franz Schubert's Winterreise cycle, Ludwig van Beethoven's quartets op.95 and op.127, on the 250th anniversary of his birth; Johannes Brahms' Sextet op.18 and Bela Bartók's Divertimento for Strings," de la Cruz said.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the festival will also add the Échea string quartet made up of musicians from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
