Estela de Carlotto: Never Again means... Never Again

Estela de Carlotto, head of the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo HHRR group was interviewed by colleagues from Radio Nacional Ushuaia and Islas Malvinas.

The activist highlighted that "Grandmothers are not on vacation and we are still active with remote work carrying on our work of tracing, finding and restoring grandchildren back to their legitimate families, i.e., recovering all the children disappeared by the 1976-1983 dictatorship".

She also pointed out that this has been the longest-running democracy in the history of Argentina, no interruptions since 1983.

For this reason, she emphasized that "Nunca Más es Nunca Más" (Never Again is Never Again), reiterating the famous words of prosecutor Julio César Strassera, at the Trial of the Military Junta Commanders for crimes against humanity in 1985..
