Railway Accident

Eleven people died, among them a month old baby and 228 others were hurt after the crash occurred between a bus and two trains, at the railway crossing in the city neighborhood of Flores, on the Sarmiento railway that links Once with the locality of Moreno.

The accident occurred at 6.23 when the bus crossed the railway crossing and was crashed over by a train that was reaching at the Flores station from Once.

The accident, the worst of the four that occurred during the current year, caused 11 casualties.

Transport Secretary, Juan Pablo Schavi, analyzes the film images taken by the security cameras in the crossing to determine the final responsibility in the accident.
