The president headed the ceremony at the Women saloon in government House accompanied by Justice Minister Julio Alak, members of the Supreme Court of Justice, legislators and guests. During the ceremony, the Head of State recalled that the “legal system had 32.204 laws” and explained that the Project of the first Digest was sent to Parliament and contemplates all the laws. She said that out of the total number of laws mentioned, only 10 % are still in force, therefore it is quite easy to imagine the laws that are no longer applicable. Cristina Fernández said the digest was systematized in 26 subjects and held that it was a task to be done.-
