Bolivian President’s statements

Evo Morales, who supports the Argentine government on the Malvinas sovereignty question said that the British Foreign Affairs Minister told him not to side with Argentina.

Bolivia believes that the Malvinas Islands belong to Argentina, therefore they will support and partner our country to defend the islands sovereignty.

The Bolivian Head of State added that they will continue fighting to recover the islands as well as the Bolivian Sea, the country lost during a territorial war against Chile in 1879.
