YPF increased fuel production

The company will increase supply by 15 m liters every month, i.e. by  5%.

A YPF press release stated that the improvement was the result of a some studies, tests and adjusting measures held lately which led to an innovating process of fuel reassessment in the country ,

"The process was applied to the lubricant Group operations and was based on the blending of crude oils causing a net increase in refinery processing both in La Plata in the province of Buenos Aires and in Lujan de Cuyo in the province of Mendoza.

Moreover, in order to increase offer, a new hydro sulfuration plant is being developed which will allow improvements of productivity, industrial security and the environment.

This unit will convert gas-oil into high quality fuel with low sulfur content for car use.
