Amado Boudou and Agricultural transformation

Amado Boudou attended a ceremony in the province of Bahía Blanca during which he handed over agricultural machinery.

He talked through a videoconference with the president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and highlighted that the national government fosters measures focused on an agricultural productive transformation.

The Head of the upper chamber assured that “there will be larger integration because more farming work will be generated as from new pastures and new foods, which in turn, will foster a new sustainable transformation in the region.

Boudou affirmed that machinery in the southwestern area of the province of Buenos Aires will be given to the Municipality and monitored by the National Institute of Agrofarm Technology,that will work together with producers.

Among measures taken, he announced an insurance scheme that will cover over 700 local producers holding less that 100 hectares who were affected by the draught and that will be granted together with the machinery.
