Solari was the legal attorney of Ricardo Cavallo, Raúl Scheller, Juan Carlos Rolón, Néstor Savio, Pablo García Velazco and Alberto González, and days ago he stated that State Terrorism was “hardly a political label” since society pays the military “to hill”.
This case is about the kidnapping, disappearance and murder of the first group of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, together with French nuns Alice Domon and Leonie Duquet, and writer and journalist Rodolfo Walsh.
The same proceeding also hears the cases of Alfredo Astiz, José Antonio Montes Manuel García Tallada, Jorge “the Tiger” Acosta, and Jorge Radice.
Miguel Donda, Antonio Pernías, Carlos Capdevilla, Juan Antonio Azic, Ernesto Weber and Juan Carlos Fotea, pleaded non guilty and being acquitted.
During the statement, the Court Attorney requested life sentence for Astiz, Acosta, Cavallo, Radice, Rolón, Pernías, García Velazco, Coronel, Donda, Scheller, Fotea, Savio and González. Moreover, he requested 25-year sentence for Montes, García Tallada, Capdevilla and Azic.
HHRR in country jails
Justice Minister, Julio Alak, presented an Integral Program of HHRR for People deprived of freedom. The Minister was accompanied by Secretary of Justice, Julián Alvarez, and other authorities.
The Project aims at offering guaranties to prisoners in jail and allow other entities to control the system.
Railway Accident
Eleven people died, among them a month old baby and 228 others were hurt after the crash occurred between a bus and two trains, at the railway crossing in the city neighborhood of Flores, on the Sarmiento railway that links Once with the locality of Moreno.
The accident occurred at 6.23 when the bus crossed the railway crossing and was crashed over by a train that was reaching at the Flores station from Once.
The accident, the worst of the four that occurred during the current year, caused 11 casualties.
